Say Again

Sun broke through the clouds and began to shine
It was so bright, nearly made me blind
Melted the snow right beneath my feet
Lord, thank you for being so kind

Today will be longer than the day before
Buds on those trees I really do adore
I felt it in my bones when I rolled out of bed
I know I won’t be sad anymore

Say again. Did I hear you curse the day?
That bitter look on your face is gonna make the sun go away
I can’t believe my eyes and my ears must be mistaken
That attitude ain’t never gonna pay

That bunny hops and the robin sings
The butterfly is flappin’ its wings
Let’s pull down the top and go for a ride
To see what else that day can bring

Now all them girls are showin’ their knees (whistle)
When I get to that river, leaves better be on them trees
All winter long’s been filled with snow and ice
Now my mind can be at ease

(repeat chorus)

(repeat chorus)
