Vindictive Vixen

I heard the click-ity-clack from the red fox trottin’ my way
By the way she walked I knew she had to be mine
My legs felt shaky and my body was beginning to sway
I saw the sparkle in her eyes and it made me blind

I can’t understand why she was even talking to me
I thought, “She must be looking for something that I can’t provide.”
She was awful convincing and she spoke quite genuinely
But I would come to find that she was full of lies

She’s a vindictive vixen, a cunning little fox
I took the bait and that’s when I fell
Into her web of deception spun from her red flowing locks
It’s gonna be a long time before I break her spell

It must have been like stealing candy from a kid
I had my mouth wide open trying not to drool
You ought to be ashamed for what you did
You manipulated me and made me feel like a fool

In the end there was nothing left to steal
You’re a snake in the grass shedding your disguise
Your true colors are finally revealed
And now I know you were full of lies

(repeat chorus)

(repeat chorus)
